Why I'm Running
I’ve been blessed in life with a good education which prepared me for a successful engineering and management career. I want to make sure all our children have that opportunity, and can live up to their full potential. I want to give some of my blessings back to my community. It’s a job with lots of hard work and little pay. What’s not to like? My Catholic faith tells me I will be judged one day on what I did to help the least -- the most in need. (Mt 25:32-46) Our children are our future and our children are AT RISK. The U.S. is on a path to become a second rate country because of its neglect of education. For the sake of our society we must work to fix the education system. I intend to do that. Will you help?

• Increased parent participation to build a strong partnership between student, teacher and parents
• Continued and increased focus on student academic achievement
• Develop alternate funding sources for schools
